LSU ChE PhD Student’s Paper Published on CO2 Reduction

October 15, 2024 BATON ROUGE, LA – Monsuru Dauda, a third-year Ph.D. student in the LSU Cain Department of Chemical Engineering, has had a very busy 2024. He’s co-authored five research conference papers and been lead author on another two, the most recent being published in the Journal of The Electrochemical Society. This latest publication brings his total for the year to seven.

LSU Chemical Engineering PhD Student’s Paper on Multichip Interconnects Published

June 19, 2024 BATON ROUGE, LA – LSU Chemical Engineering PhD student Junghyun Park is the lead author on a newly published paper titled, “Extending Copper Interconnects and Epoxy Dielectrics to Multi-GHz Frequencies,” which explores the quantitative trade-offs between the electrical performance and reliability of multichip packages with interlocking adhesion.

Two Engineering Seniors Named Astronaut Scholars

June 11, 2024 BATON ROUGE, LA – LSU Computer Engineering senior Tiernan Dautle and LSU Chemical Engineering senior Peter Vallet were two of the 71 students chosen nationwide to receive a scholarship from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to students in their junior and senior year of college studying science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) with the intent to pursue research or advance their field upon completion of their final degree.
