A Research Experience for Undergraduates
Smart Polymer Composite Materials and Structures is a Research Experience for Undergraduates
(REU) program. Faculty from the departments of chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical
engineering, and computer science will mentor students. Students will participate
in research projects, professional development, research facility tours, and have
opportunities to present their research. We especially seek applications from women
and groups traditionally historically underrepresented in STEM disciplines.

Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a two- or four-year institution | On-campus housing |

Important Dates
- March 1, 2024
Application Deadline- Screening of applications will begin on March 1st and will continue until all spots are filled
- Applications submitted on or before March 8th will be considered but subject to availability
- May 27 - August 3, 2024
