About Networking Night

The LSU School of Leadership & Human Resource Development (SLHRD) hosts a bi-annual networking event, which brings together students in the Leadership & Human Resource Development and Human Resource Management fields of study with Human Resource representatives from around the Baton Rouge metropolitan area.

We all know the importance of networking in the Human Resources profession, and we want to provide those opportunities to our students who will soon enter the HR field. We also know that experience counts just as much as the degree and it’s our mission to assist our students in getting those valuable internship experiences.

For our Students

In today's job market, your degree and GPA isn't always enough to give you a competitive advantage over other candidates. Employers, when selecting candidates, look for two things: Education and Experience.
